Riding the EdTech Wave

At UConn Law, we started a ‘wave’ of weekly presentations on educational technology current trends and tools available to Faculty.  From presentation design to classroom technology, lecture capture to videoconference and streaming services, course management tools to classroom feedback systems, Google collaboration tools to blogs and wikis; the tools and possibilities are endless.

Transforming The First Year of Law School with TheFirstYear Project: A Cognitive Approach to Blended Learning in Legal Education

In order to design effective videos for use in a blended classroom, we can turn to multimedia theory to inform our development.  Our approach has been validated by our successful flipping of the first year Contracts course.
