Riding the EdTech Wave

At UConn Law, we started a ‘wave’ of weekly presentations on educational technology current trends and tools available to Faculty. From presentation design to classroom technology, lecture capture to videoconference and streaming services, course management tools to classroom feedback systems, Google collaboration tools to blogs and wikis; the tools and possibilities are endless.

During this session, we will go over how we developed and implemented educational technology training sessions, as well as the topics we covered and the technical support needed. With such an array of options, there is always a tool to accommodate every teaching style and enhance every learning activity. Is it possible to support it all? Library and IT departments need to provide assistance and keep current with technologies that support teaching and learning. We will also share experiences and user feedback following the introduction of each new trend and tool, including the challenges we encountered and the solutions we offered.
