Riding the EdTech Wave

At UConn Law, we started a ‘wave’ of weekly presentations on educational technology current trends and tools available to Faculty.  From presentation design to classroom technology, lecture capture to videoconference and streaming services, course management tools to classroom feedback systems, Google collaboration tools to blogs and wikis; the tools and possibilities are endless.

Speaker(s):

This program, ideal for smaller law school technology directors and staff, will discuss the ever-growing list of individual, but connected technologies and how a lean law school technology operation might manage all parts of delivering a comprehensive set of resources for students, faculty and staff.

The Times They Are A-Changin

Speaker(s):

"And the first one now will later be last, for the times they are a-changin'" - Bob Dylan knew what was up when he strummed those words.  Change happens, and we have many options when it comes to our response.  Come hear tips, tricks, and war stories from our various implementations of tech: from campus-wide implementations to classroom-specific things to online/hybrid course testing/deployment.  The goal is for you to leave feeling like you can approach your IT department (or faculty!) with ideas to get processes started...or get projects back on track!
