The Beer Hike

Yes, it is once again time for the annual CALI Beer Hike, the thirteenth such peregrination in search of tasty craft beer.  All with a thirst for hoppy goodness are welcome to join us as we hike to local taps in search of real ale. we will meet in the lobby of the Indigo at 8 pm (time subject to change, so watch this entry for late changes), ready to hike.

These are all recommended pubs from the San Diego Brewer's Guild. You will notice they cluster in two areas, near the hotel/law school, and on the other side of Balboa Park, around 30th Street. The closer ones are easy walks (0.2 to 0.9 miles from the Indigo). The 30th Street cluster all a cab ride away (about 4 miles).

I propose we pick from the closer bunch. They are, in the order recommended to me by a local friend and beer snob:
