About the CALI Conference:

CALI, a nonprofit organization (cali.org), hosts the Conference for Law School Computing at a different law school each year. Our attendees are early-adopters who are eager to learn about how your products and services can improve their law schools.

CALI has hosted the conference for 20 years. We've averaged around 300 attendees over that time.

The focus [of the CALI conference] was on new products, new capacities and capabilities, completely new tools that do things in ways that we never dreamed of. It was cool. . . . We learned about fantastic new cloud based products and services like DropBox and Buzzword, we learned about using technology in teaching, about new tools to help build better websites, like Aquila Drupal and about how to build electronic course supplement packages. We also learned about new online products coming from CCH, Westlaw, BNA and Hein that, potentially will make a difference in how we research.

How we're different:

The conference is more fun and informal than most law school conferences. Exhibitor tables do not sit in a separate show room, but in close proximity to food and attendees. The red tape (and the costs) associated with exhibiting at large hotels does not exist for our exhibitors.

More than any other conference, we make sure our sponsors are a part of the community: from little things like full access to our meal and break food or sessions, to unique opportunities like the chance to hold a conference session about your products and services.

Past sponsors:

Most respected companies with software, technology, and innovation to share with law schools sponsor the CALI Conference: Appointlink, BePress, BNA, Computest, Examsoft, Extegrity, Fastcase, Hein, LexisNexis, Software Secure, and West are regular and longtime sponsors.
