Competencies and Rubrics and Communities, Oh My!

In January 2015, William Mitchell College of Law welcomed a cohort of 80+ students to the first online/face-to-face hybrid, ABA-accredited J.D. program for an intensive “Preparation Week,” which immersed them into the world of law school. Since then, these students have contributed to numerous weekly discussion forums, taken quizzes, turned in assignments, participated in recorded video chats, prepared for exams, and interacted with each other, faculty, and William Mitchell staff in ways traditional law students typically have not.
