Deploying tools and techniques for data visualization is one of the most interesting opportunities for law librarians to demonstrate their IT chops (and, conversely, for IT folks to demonstrate their appreciation of scholarship).  As we move into the era of Big Data, scholars, researchers, faculty, and students will be best prepared if they have available tools and techniques for presenting information visually.
