The End of the Textbook (Digital or Otherwise): Using Content-Embedded Concept Maps to Teach Law

Speaker(s):

Many publishers are attempting to make available digitized versions of their existing textbooks and casebooks.  ChartaCourse has flipped the concept of the textbook and casebook entirely, creating instead web-based interactive concept maps, or 'charts,' of large-scale law topics (Property, Torts, etc.), and embedding content within the maps -- including cases, practice problems, background material, videos, and interactive analytical diagrams,  These 'charts' allow students to simultaneously dig deep into the minutae of doctrine while keeping track of context.
