Solr and Swish-e are two freeware software packages that can be set up to allow full text searching on your website. Elmer Masters will describe how to set up and operate Solr within a Drupal website installation. John Joergensen will speak about the setup and operation of Swish-e. They will also discuss the advantages and difficulties of each system, and why they chose those packages over other available search engines.
