Technology Tasting: Using iPads in Clinics

The University of Richmond launched an iPad initiative in the Spring of 2014 for all clinic students, faculty, and staff.  The University has recently subscribed to CLIO for clinic case management.  Students have been given iPads and told to download and install both the CLIO app as well as the Cisco Anyconnect app.  Some students have also been required to download and install FileBrowser, which gives them access to the University's NAS secure file server.  We will discuss the successes and trials with our initiative, as well as share our student's perspective with using iPads in the field.  One or more of the Professors who teach in our Clinic will be the co-speaker(s).
