Extreme Makeover: Website Edition

Websites, like houses or people, get makeovers from time to time. You get used to working with what you've got, but sometimes a little change can be good. At Georgia State Law we have had the experience of migrating to a new content management system (CMS) two times in the last three years. When you change your CMS, you have a chance to step back and reevaluate your content and how you are conveying that content. This presentation will discuss our most recent changes, the reasons for adopting a new CMS, incorporating an intranet site, separating the law library's website from the law school's website, content considerations, and the lessons we learned along the way.
