Core Competencies for Technology in Legal Education: A Guided Discussion

This session will be in the guided discussion format.  Come ready to share opinions and experiences teaching technology to the legal community.  Together, let's articulate core technology skills needed for lawyers.
 
This session seeks to bring together professionals at the intersection of law and technology to talk about issues pertaining to our education and our field. It will be a moderated conversation with guiding questions such as: What technology skills are needed to prepare law students for the job? How do you balance the cutting edge with the basics? Is there a set of core competencies in technology for law students and practicing lawyers?  What would you change? How would you change legal instruction?  How would you guide practicing lawyers to bridge the gap to the future?
 
Legal instructors, technologists, and librarians, new and seasoned professionals are welcome and encouraged to attend and share information.
